Family Vacations

There are a lot of stresses that go a long with having a family, but one of the most fun stresses is planning the annual family vacation.  This is something my husband and I do fairly well together.  We usually go to the North Carolina Outer Banks.  It is an amazing trip that we have made 2 out of the last 3 years.  It is my oldest son's happy place.  He literally cried the first 20 minutes of the drive home last year, and begged us to move to OBX.

The best part of the trip are the memories made.  We have wonderfully memories of our family vacations.  It is something we strive to do every year.  This time of the year is spent searching the internet for the best deals, the best locations and just over all the best memories made.

I look forward to my time away from work and the day to day stresses of Mommyhood. Once the plans are in place then the real stresses begin of preparing to take make another trip as exciting and as memory filled as possible.  Now to plan the trip and keep it as much of a secret from the kiddos as possible, so they endless questions of when do we go, and what not don't start.
